Dolan Hotels are looking for an experienced Second In Command to join the kitchen team.

General Scope of Job:

We are looking for an experienced Second in Command in the kitchen. The successful applicant must be confident in their culinary skills as well as with leading the kitchen when the Head Chef is absent.

Duties:

  • Deputises for the Head Chef
  • Keeps on top of food preparations
  • Takes part in menu planning and preparation
  • Ensures that kitchen is operating in a timely manner
  • Assists junior chef employees in different areas of kitchen
  • Monitor and records inventory

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Former Culinary Training
  • Previous employment in a four or five star establishment
  • Knowledge of sanitisation, health and safety and food preparation
  • Leadership qualities with excellent communication skills

Remuneration and Other Benefits:

  • Very good salary – negotiable subject to qualifications and experience
