General scope of work:

To be a generally friendly and helpful face at the hotel and to contribute to guest happiness and a great meal or stay

Duties:

  • To welcome hotel and restaurant guests on arrival, to direct them where they need to go and assist them with check ins, check outs, coats and luggage.
  • To help guide guests towards an enjoyable holiday and answer any questions or give advice on the hotel, local attractions, transport and nearby restaurants.
  • To help maintain the general cleanliness and good presentation of the hotel, grounds & public areas including the daily setup and maintenance of the pool & terrace areas (Somerville Hotel & Hotel Cristina Only).
  • To help manage the car park at busy times (Somerville Hotel & Hotel Cristina Only) and direct deliveries for the bar and restaurant.
  • To assist reception, housekeeping & maintenance when they are busy or need assistance.
  • To be a generally happy, friendly & helpful face at the hotel and to contribute to guest happiness and a great meal or stay.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong command of the English language
  • Great interpersonal skills – Friendly, confident and outgoing
  • Good knowledge of local activities, attractions, restaurants and nearby transport links.
  • Driving licence (Somerville Hotel & Hotel Cristina Only).
  • A keen eye for detail.
