The Somerville Hotel is looking for a Bar Manager who will be responsible for the smooth running  and development of Voyager Lounge Bar.

General Scope of Job:

This individual will be able to guarantee guest satisfaction and manage Food and Beverage procedures for the bar.

Duties:

  • Orders stock needed for the bar
  • Assists bar staff
  • Staff training
  • Handles customer feedback and queries
  • Adheres to food and beverage budget
  • Follows food health and safety regulations
  • Assist in the development of drink, cocktail and wine menus
  • Assist in the development of bar procedures

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in a four or five star establishment or high-end cocktail bar
  • Experience making cocktails
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills
  • An understanding of food health & safety procedures
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Manages daily food and beverage operations
