Customer Service Awards

Joe Gomes, Head Porter at the Somerville Hotel is the proud winner of the 2011 Jersey Customer Service Awards, Large Business category.

To win the award, members of the community, including our hotel and restaurant guests, voted for the employee they thought deserved the award. The short listed candidates were then 'mystery shopped' to check they really did provide excellent levels of customer service.

The results were announced at a ceremony in Royal Square, on Friday 7th October where Joe collected his award. In his acceptance speech he thanked everyone who had voted for him as well as the Somerville Hotel team for their support and being an excellent team.
