The cultural landscape of the Channel Island of Jersey and its Norman style farmhouses, the narrow winding lanes and small fields, the French street names and cuisine, all reflect a fascinating and complex history that has entwined the island in the fate of two great nations - Britain and France, for over one thousand years.
With Dolan Hotels in Jersey, we make your holiday enjoyment our business which is why the island offers so much in the form of holiday entertainment and activites. From high culture to unadulterated fun, Jersey has it all.

Fort Regent is often the venue for top-name bands, comedians and shows who visit the island during the summer months and there are frequent outdoor music events, festivals and concerts.
In addition to the 190 restaurants on the island, there are numerous nightclubs, pubs and winebars, some of which often play live music, and many hotels also provide facilities for dancing and stage their own cabarets, some with admission to the general public.
Jersey is the largest and most southerly of the UK Channel Islands and has over 50 miles of coastline. There are 12 major beaches and many other smaller bays to suit all tastes for both young and old. They are also some of the cleanest in Europe.
There are white sandy beaches on most, apart from a few on the north coast where the weathered dust of granite, granulated from the rocks by centuries of tides gives the sand a rich darkness. Small fishing harbours which tempt you with their heritage, and west coast beaches which face the Atlantic Ocean and are ideal for surfing and windsurfing.
For those on a short break or longer holiday, Jersey is an ideal destination for countless activities. The climate is often warmer and sunnier than mainland Britain, allowing visitors the opportunity to take advantage of a myriad of outdoor activities and pursuits.
For Family fun there's a variety of activities at the Amazing Maze, including the namesake maze which is grown and harvested each year. Go-karting and mini golf are firm favorites at the Living Legend and the Aquasplash pool complex provides rainy day activites of flumes and tyre rides.
There are also numerous "Sites of Special Interest" in Jersey. These are protected under the law for their ecological, architectural or cultural value. For the more enthusiastic walkers amongst you, there are dozens of fabulous 'cliffpath' walks along Jersey's north coast. Our favourite has to be the walk from Bonne Nuit Bay to Bouley Bay. If you prefer pedal power the 'Green Lanes', an intricate network of 50 miles of Jersey country lanes have a speed limit of 15mph and give priority to walkers, cyclists and horse riders.
